Hello, my name is Xiaoling Liang. I was a teacher in China before I came here. I taught mental health and career planning. When I felt these curriculums need multiple teaching method, I desided to learn curriculum and instruction abroad. After one and a half year, I learned a lot of new ideas, and made some good friends.
I think Twitter is very convenient for teachers and students to contact with each other. Twitter is mini-blog, which make the users keep in touch timely. Monica Rankin indicated the limitation of Twitter is that Tweets have to be less than 140 characters so students are not able to go into a lot of detail in their comments (http://www.utdallas.edu/~mar046000/usweb/twitterconclusions.htm).

Have you tried it? Do you twitter?
I like to read tweets, but I don't like to send them out. To me, Facebook updates are good enough.
